  • This full day workshop, delivered by Julia Swarbrick, is an excellent introduction to this very satisfying print making process. Julia is a very experienced artist working in a variety of settings all over the North West. Her print-making workshops are in great demand and this is a great opportunity to learn from this excellent artist. She will take you through all the processes so you can leave with beautiful artwork. The workshop is on Saturday 7th July 2018, 10am - 4pm. The price includes all materials, lunch and refreshments as well as the full day's Art Tuition.
  • Classes take place on Tuesdays. 2 sessions are available, 2:30pm - 4:30pm and 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Price £45 for 6 sessions. These classes are suitable for a wide range of levels of experience/ability.

  • Atelier Arts is an official venue for the Clitheroe Artwalk, which takes place several times each year. Atelier Arts, as a working, professional art studio hosting up to 8 artists, is unique, and the opportunity to experience this is considered highly inspiring by our visitors.   • Oil paint on board Julie paints the places she loves. Many are set in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and demonstrate a sublime understanding of sea and sky. This is one of several paintings illustrating Julie’s love of the Ribble Valley. Sheep have featured in several pieces, painted from her many photographs of her walks in the area.   • Ink on Paper Much of Keith’s work incorporates text, especially Haiku poetry. He also has a real thing for herons. The two come together here, portraying the scruffy grace of the hunting heron in energetic brush and pen work

  • This is a full day landscape painting experience just beyond the beautiful villages of Barley and Roughlee and surrounding areas of Pendle Hill. Our base camp for the day is at the very historical Clarion house, the only one of its kind left in Britain today founded by the Labour and communist party.
  • Oil on Calico This series includes some monochrome blue paintings. All the work in this series is painted on meticulously prepared calico which is lightly primed and sanded smooth to allow the paint to glide. The focus is therefore on the light and dark, although the red underpainting brings warmth through the image. Unframed 61cms x 61cms
