I am Beverley founder of ‘Bevart designs’.

My passion is most definitely to make, create and inspire.

I absolutely love colour, I love paint and I love wood!

‘Bevart designs’ uses exotic woods, colour and resin combinations made into unique jewellery pieces with a contemporary design element.

Some of my designs are just simply wood, from the beautiful silky smooth ebony to the more earthy tones of walnut wood. I create unisex rings from the wood and embellish with copper, I also make earrings and pendants in this way.

My love of colour and the use of oil paint is used to create colourways that blend and work together or in contrast, I use resin to seal, protect and illuminate the colours, the jewellery pieces are then cut sometimes by hand or a router, the pieces are polished and hand finished then made into pieces to wear and enjoy.

I sell my jewellery pieces from my studio, craft fairs and online at The British Craft House.

There is nothing more than wonderful than seeing someone wearing your jewellery, some of my pieces are vibrant and colourful, I choose the colour pallets very carefully, these will definitely brighten up your day, and your wardrobe. Some pieces are more tonal, subtle and natural.

The things that inspire me to create are nature, travel, galleries, wabi sabi, people and experimenting.

I do a happy dance whenever I sell a piece of jewellery.
